OnTrack Online Group classes Level B1.2 (3b) Jan-Mar 2025 (2 person access)
12 Lesson course for 2 people using the same device. This course is aimed at helping you to become yet more precise and clear in your language and start to get a bank of idiomatic expressions so you can understand better. We will look at plenty of dialogues and texts to you will become much more familiar with the language, and some more advanced grammatical topics such as the passive voice, conditional and future tenses and reported speech.
This course combines weekly online group classes (via Zoom) with a well structured study package.
You receive access to the online learning platform where you have all the study materials for each lesson instantly available.
We use the ‘flipped classroom method’. So rather than coming to class and being taught live in the classroom, you have each lesson’s materials available for you to go through at your own pace prior to class, whenever suits you, and then you can digest and review before coming to the lesson and practise using the language.
In the live classes we take time to ensure there are no lingering questions, practice pronunciation and once everyone is happy with the lesson’s content go into breakout rooms, monitored by the teacher, to work in pairs to practice speaking and doing communicative activities for the week’s content.
Each course is 12 weeks long and is divided into 3 modules, with the final lesson of each module being a review and extension lesson.
Each of the 12 lessons comprises of:
a short 15-20 video and worksheet to study before the class.
a class activity sheet to work on in the live session,
a worksheet of follow up practice activities for after class,
several sets of flashcards to help you learn and give you the opportunity to play games with the language for the lesson.
